Through facilitating light movement and meditation, folks learned how to regulate their nervous system for daily practice.
In small group discussions, we explored our community's strengths and barriers to living healthy. We created suggestions to improve our environment with more support and connection.
Folks shared profound stories of pain and growth, saying they felt instant relief after movement and envisioning.
I was reminded that with intent and prayerful energy, space is created where folks can feel safe to be real and bring their truth and wisdom forward. It was awesome to hear that the families want to make pomadas/teas, learn more about traditional cooking and how to build their own gardens!
